Canadians Get Extra $1000 Off With Costco

Just was looking at costco.ca and see they are partnering with ford to give $1000 off new mustangs (except GT500) to costco members...and thats even ontop of employee discount (which is held over until sept 30)

http://fordcostco.ca/FordCostco/en/legal.html

so base GT

$39,949

employee discount-$3,600
delivery allowance-$1,750
costco membership-$1,000 (after taxes)

Wow both of those together adds up to a significant discount... wish I didn't have to wait until next summer to order my Mustang. Are these offers an annual thing?

Also, on an unrelated note, I was just playing with the online configurer and it seems like you can't get yellow blaze with the saddle interior... which is a shame because I think that combination would be fantastic.

I don't think they can be used in conjunction. At least my dealership wouldn't let me. Employee pricing alone was substantial savings, however.

might be worth contacting your dealership and see if they would honour it...nothing to lose

"This offer can be used in conjunction with most retail consumer offers made available by Ford at either the time of factory order (if ordered within the Costco Offer Period) or delivery"

i think you can use them both

Good point Tom, nothing to lose if they say no. I won't be holding my breath though... since it's a Costco coupon I'm guessing it'd be hard for the dealership to process under Costco's T&C's. A retail store could redo a receipt easy enough, but I'm thinking dealerships can't (warranty/etc).

My parents used this when they bought a Ranger, it was ontop of any deals/incentives.

I used it! It reduced another incentive (employee pricing maybe?) by $250, so I ended up cutting another $750 off the price. I was very pleased!

Can Use Both

I ordered my car before the Costco offer came up with the Employee Pricing. I contacted Ford Customer Service and they said I would get the $1000 Costco deal if I take delivery before November 1st. They even told me that they noted it on my file for future reference.

The Recycle Your Ride and Retire Your Ride programs wouldn't have applied to me.
Targeted Loyalty = is that from if I owned a Ford previously?
Clublink = isn't that a golf membership company?
Costco = this is the one I'm checking on (thanks Tom!)

ya i think the globe kinda pushed the whole money off thing...but they look every week for best values off cars in general...

i was in costco yesterday, and they had a ford escape out front, with promo about whole extra $1000 off ontop of employee discount thing...so it's legit...so don't take no from your dealerships...demand the $1000!

costco "Offer valid from Sep. 1/10 to Nov. 1/10" so wouldn't be good for boss (good luck even getting one...i would get on your local dealership waiting list asap!)

Some incentives are "raincheckable" and some are not. "Raincheckable" means that they are still good even if the incentive isn't offered when the car comes in if ordered. I'm not certain if the Costco rebate is raincheckable or not, and it seems to come and go. Just beware that the rebate might not be applicable when the car comes in. You wouldn't be able to order a Boss until November anyways.

It is unlikely you will be able to use X-Plan on a Boss ... At this point it's doubtful even A-Plan will apply.

Besides, the Boss isn't going into production until next year, the soonest you MAY be able to order it is November when the order bank opens for the 2012s but it won't be delivered until the end of February at the very earliest IF they start production of them IN January (which they may not)
