We had played at this court like 100 times before with no issues ever. We were just too naive. Now that it's all said and done I know exactly how he went about it. We had been playing at the court for about 3 hours. (Theft happened between 6:02pm and 6:15pm) He had been casing since we got there at like 3. But when he came back to do the deed it was dark and he changed into basketball clothes so that he could blend in.
He started shooting around with us and we asked him if he wanted to play. He claimed he was waiting on his friend and then he would jump in. So we started playing. Somebody asked us the time and when we all went to get a cell phone to check, BAM, bag's gone, he's gone.
The good news is the idiot tried to use my friend's debit card for like $900 at Wal-Mart. Obviously it was denied , freakin moron. But now WalMart has him on camera and the Police are just now getting the tape.
I'm praying they can ID him and we can roll him up!

Check out a local locksmith. I work at one and we can reprogram all ford transponder keys. We do it for about half the cost of the dealership. We use a program called keyless ride. It requires hooking a laptop to your obd-ll port. It takes about 10 minutes. You can add additional keys I think up to four.

I wish these keys would work because the price is right:

They say these are compatible so I'll probably get 2 of them:

These look nice:

Call your cell phone provider and report that your cell phone was stolen. Most cell providers have a security server that prevents a cell phone from ever being re-registered again. Doesn't help you other than knowing the theif cannot register the phone, nor can anyone who buys it.
Most likely some crackhead thief trying to get money for their next fix.

No doubt this guy is a low-life. Apparently he tried to buy an ipad with the stolen credit card
