Camaro's everywhere!
Well been out in Dubai for the past 2 weeks (working sadly) but I can't believe how many Camaro's there are, everywhere you turn there seems to be one! A few Dodge's too.
Did see 2 2010 Stangs and a whole bunch of pre-2010's but somewhat dissapointed that there aren't more later stang's.
Still home in 5 days so will get to drive mine again and hopefully it will be warm enough to take off the snows and get the OEM 19's worn in

I live in Tulsa and see 20/1 camaros over 10+ mustangs. So **** annoying. Bit I'm usually driving a work truck so can't toy with them. Not that I street race but a little exhaust revving or give them the evil eye.

I thiml the population in my town's like 3,100? There are about 3 camaros, not even 1 10+ Mustang! Caught a Kona 5.0 as it was passing through town @ a gas station. All camaros are drove by chicks. I'm kinda glad I have the only 5.0 in town, though!! Found in my 33 yrs alive, most people are just ignorant!! Why would they get smart on their car choices? Not smart enough to handle the Mustang's power, anyhow! Lady in red camaro I don't know, much. Both silver 2, glad they'll ruin these instead of Stangs!!

Can you say "incentive"? The local Chevy dealer has, I believe 10 Camaros sitting on the lot. They have not moved for well over a month. But, I was told GM is selling so much because of the incentives to include 0% interest...if true, I can see why non-car people would take the Camaro over the Mustang. Money...
I really don't care how many there are on the street, as thre Candy Red Mustang attracts people like nothing else I have driven. People, all ages, smile and wave. I think it is a Mustang thing
And, I have yet to pass another one. Lots of Mustangs out here, as this is Ford and Chevy country.

I see a lot more 2010+ Camaros compared to 2010+ Mustangs. To me it is not that surprising. Let the Chevy guys have their day. Camaro fans had to wait 8 years for a new Camaro so it is pretty logical that it has a higher demand right now. Yes the 2011 Mustang outperforms the new Camaro but that does not always equal sales. Ask GM about the 1990s when they dominated the Mustang in performance but couldn't touch Ford's sales figures.
I look at the 2010-11 Camaro as their version of the 2005 Mustang. You are going to have a 2 year period where the car is wildly popular and it will slowly die down. In 2005 Ford had the luxury of virtually no competition. I remember a couple Dodge and Chevy guys actually buying Mustangs because they had no alternative for a pony car. The Mustang will outperform the Camaro in performance but not sales.

hmmm
out here i would say 2010+ mustangs outnumber the camaro about 6 or 7 to 1. i rarely see a new camaro. even the challenger seems to have around 3:1 against the camaro.
beleive it or not i see more GTOs than them too

Yep, I noticed that myself driving to work today, but from what I saw it was more even Mustangs/Camaros. It's all good though -- none of them were driving like a**holes. Now the Hondas on the other hand...

I would say that around here, you see LOTS of the Big Three muscle cars, but Mustangs are way more popular in my part of the hood, especially the 2005's +. Not that many 5.0's enforcing the street law, but i'm one of them ! On duty at all times when crusing around.

I see plenty of Mustangs but most of them older. Going to work I don't see many muscle cars running around period, most people here seem to have daily drivers and then their fun car (the office building parking lot has two cars of note parking regularly, my own and a nice BMW Z4. Funny story there is that I'd seen it there for about six months before I finally saw that of the entire 7-floor office building it was the BA inhabiting the cube next to mine who drove it), but on the weekends there are Camaros everywhere and a lot of 2005-9 Mustangs. I've been seeing more 10+s lately though, including a few 5.0s. I swear for about six months I saw one, maybe two besides my own. Since the new year I've seen three or four confirmed 5.0s at least. Still see more Camaros and I even see more Challengers, but the 2011 Mustang GTs have been picking up lately around here.

i live in minnesota and i have only seen 2 other 5.0's since i got my 11' and my brother owns one of them, as far as the chevy i would say its more commen but not exactly a dime a dozen. as far as a v6 to v8 ratio id say its about 7 to 1 in the pony car world here maybe higher, makes me proud to be a v8 owner, not that the v6 is bad

I’ve been wondering if anyone is buying any of those new GTs and GT500s on dealer lots here in Dallas/Fort Worth. Every dealer has them, yet I've only seen 3 2011 GTs and 1 2010+ GT500 on the street. Tons of Camaros, but that’s cool…mine will stand out more.
