Bumper removal - GT fog light plugs
Bumper removal - GT fog light plugs
I have not done this in a couple years, and previously it was a 2013 V6 - back story...a couple months ago, I hit a bucket at 75 MPH, ripping the lower valance and splash shield apart. I am replacing both with new parts, factory fasteners, etc. I am also replacing the horn-water got into it due to the missing lower splash shield.
Now, I have watched videos, yet, I keep missing something - I removed ALL remaining bumper fasteners, undid side clips where the bumper meets the fender, yet the bumper is catching, and I cannot seem to unplug the electrical connectors on the grille lights. Bumper removal is not necessary, however, it would make things easier, especially with removal of the fog light delete covers, and install the bumper fogs - I will be wiring them into the grill lamps.

My biggest beef with road debris is tractor trailer tire chunks. Some areas are so bad I'd like to see regroovable tires (recaps) outlawed. They can be a serious hazard in some conditions.
