I've bought four new Fords since December 2007 ('08 Fusion and Escape, 2010 Taurus and Mustang)... and without question, the Mustang is better all around as to build quality. Exterior fit and finish... 'solidness' of the plastic parts... interior trim that actually lines up where it's supposed to. I can be picky as all hell, and I just can't find anything to complain about other than the striping (which was a dealer add-on and not even a FORD product). It's been four days now, and that's plenty of time for for noticing. I'm very impressed.

The new Mustang has gotten great reviews about its quality from many sources including Consumer Reports. My 2010, however, came with some problems that the dealer took care off. I had a new '87 Ford Bronco (remember them?) and it had all kinds of problems like going though a set of front brakes every 15000 miles, leaks, etc. After Ford refused to help out at all I swore I would never buy another Ford for as long as I live. I guess I died and came back to life as now I have a new 2010 GT and I love it!
