ET changes are not my goal. I can live with a mid 12 second ET car, which it is now. If I see much of an ET change, my goal is a low 12 second ET car with a 1.70 or better 60'. This puts me chasing the majority of the Sportsman 12 seconds and slower class. With these changes I should be pretty close to a low 12 second car. Once I get the car's reaction time and my reaction time in sync, the idea is to repeat the RT & ET as close as possible every round.

So Consistency is Your Goal!

So It Will Be Interesting to See Which Setup Provides The Best Most Consistent Result!

End of season summary:

Car was pretty consistent with the Circle D 6c 4000-4200 stall converter, 3.73 gear on 28" slicks with the BMR UCA in the lower hole and the LCAs in the middle hole and the QA1 shocks on 4 compression and 6 rebound. Leaving just off idle put the car solidly in the mid 12s. I'm going to upgrade the brakes this winter to try holding it on the line easier and launching at a higher stall. Transbrake would be the obvious upgrade, but it's not allowed in the footbrake class. I found a 1 inch bore master cylinder that is 1/8" smaller ID than the factory master cylinder bore. I'm also adding the Boss 302 brake lines. They don't flex as much as the factory S197 brake lines. Fingers crossed next spring it will be printing low 12 or high 11 time slips.
