Boss Quad vs Off-road

I'm a noob, so sorry if this is a rookie question:

Other than the obvious quad vs dual exits, what is the difference between the Boss Quad exhaust vs. an off-road setup?

Specifically, isn't the "open" side pipes on the Boss basically the same concept as a catless off-road pipe?

Also, your preference/opinion between the two would be helpful. I want a nice, deep rumble, but not loud. I will have a stock setup (waiting to take delivery of my car).

Thanks in advance!

The Boss h pipe has cats, there for its not limited to off road use only. And the side exits are after the cats.

Ok, that makes sense. Thank you!

How do the "open" Boss pipes tend to compare with off-road pipes in regard to sound? Louder/quieter?
