Boss intake? Found CHEAP!

What if I came across a brand new, in the box boss intake...on a shop floor? What if all they wanted was $300 for it? Oh, you would buy it? Welp I think I may pick it up tomorrow. What all is needed to make this work?

Are you interested in revving your motor past the factory redline?
If not, leave in the box on the shop floor.
Just my opinion....

Be sure it's not a quality reject or something...sounds odd that it would be just kicking around.

I hear the gains are pretty great, and with the plans of running N20 in the car I see this as being a nice help.

Don't all the tunes change the limiter to 7500 anyway?

Oh ok, I know I heard that the Lund tune raises it. It's funny how the fear of mods is so great when the cars are new.

Although I agree to make sure its not some reject. 300 is a good price, but not a steal. I have seen them for 360 or so shipped.

I've only had my GT up in the 6k+ rpm range a couple of times, and the power is amazing to me! I admit this is my first car ever with 400+ hp. I see no need to spend the money on that intake for anything I'll ever do with this car. I did recently get the SCT and Steeda tune, but haven't done any more 1/4 mi. runs yet. (Too bloody hot around here!)

Besides, I'm saving up for wider rims and summer tires!
