Send Shaun (of Rehagen Racing, don’t recall his TMS handle) on here a PM asking for a quote – they offer a nice discount to TMS members like us for a complete installed FRPP handling package plus Steeda adjustable panhard bar (I notice FRPP lists such a panhard bar for 2011, but does not yet provide any details). Best of all is the idea of meeting them at a racetrack on their tour and having them install the whole thing all at once – for less than my local guy quoted me. Shotzy on here had it done and he loves it & spoke highly of Rehagen. I am thinking of meeting them at VIR.

The S-Type sounds the best and the ATAK sounds just like muffler deletes. I need a muffler that sounds good and not blow your eardrums loud with an O/R X pipe. I have to say after seeing this video, I feel the Flowmaster Hushpowers sound better, less crackling and popping. They are also way cheaper... hmmm I do like the S-types though
The difference is the kit that we sell for $699 is complete T-304 stainless constructions.
The M5230MGTCA1 for $309 is a aluminized kit(don't be confused this is NOT stainless and will rust)
Thanks

I asked a local Ford Racing supplier in my area this is what he wrote me about the price difference.

Second: I've had lots of aluminized stuff in the past, and on my daily driver Datsun pickup, it seemed to last forEVer. On my garaged Corvette, the aluminized exhausted never lost its sheen at all. So aluminized isn't crap. That said, stainless is all I want to put on my $41K MSRP car, that's for sure.

Just be sure you get some good headphones and listen to a lot of video before you leap. Just sayin’.
I’m hearin ya. I had the same concept on my 1972 Corvette convertible for years and it was sweet music. But I gotta share this with you: the “muffler” sections on SW’s 2011 setup are much shorter than I had on my ‘vette. What changed my mind was finally listening to SW’s video with my Sony headphones on (not their “Racing” system, but their chambered setup, so I had the correct video), and it was just too frickin’ LOUD. I really don’t want to live with that given my usage of this car. If it was more occasional then maybe I’d put the SW Chambered back into play.

S-Type sounds the best to me, from that vid.
Based on a poll among my co-workers today, it appears it’s mostly the younger folks who prefer the S-Type & the Atak, whereas we older types (who were actually alive in the ’60’s) prefer the big-block sound of the Touring. One older co-worker (well into his ‘50’s and a car guy) remarked that the S-Type sounded like a “ricer”. Just sharing, don’t hate.
lol
I can't speak for the new S-Types on the 5.0s as I've not heard it in person, but I have S-Types on my 4.6L and there is nothing ricey about them.

Even sounds of the 4.6 don't give it justice on a youtube video.
Stingers all the way.
I'd get stingers and the side-exit-H off the BOSS to complete the package
