Hood is aluminum, but other panels are steel.

Id be nice if they used aluminium around the wheel wells so that they wouldn't rust after 20 years

you havent been reading the "my hood is rusting" threads. plus aluminium would get owned in the wheel wells since its so soft. Rocks and dings.
