Black GT or Race Red CS

Black GT or Race Red CS
I have been looking at the Sterling Gray GT and the dealer sold it the day before my appointment to go check it out. That sucked. Every local dealer I've been checking has either black GT or race red CS. The sterling gray would have to come from another state but they haven't been able to find one with the options I want. I like the race red CS, nice car. Black is a great color when it's clean, but it shows the dust and swirl marks and I am concerned I will go out of mind trying to keep it clean. Does anyone have any color advice?

...but choose Red. Black really does take a lot to keep from getting swirls.

Also coming from a black gt owner: get the red cs!!
Mostly because it's a cs though. I love the black on mine. Looks great clean, but as others have said, it's a pain to keep clean. During the pollen outbreak a month or two ago, it was impossible to get it all off

Get race red. I'm biased obviously but I bought mine used and didn't want race red at first but the deal was something I couldn't pass up. This color has grown on me and I absolutely love it. It hides any swirl marks pretty well and dirt and dust pretty well too. Go with race red. It's flashy and stands out and definitely gets everyone's attention...in a good way.

I would probably do neither since neither are what you really want.
First I would decide if you want a GT or a CS. Personally I find the CS to be kind of tacky with all the tacked on appearance stuff and a perennial blow job to California like everything else. Then add the front that looks too much like a V6, and the no Brembo option, and it's game over for the CS for me. I'd go GT, since it doesn't have any stick on stuff (unless you want it), you can get Brembos, and you can spot a GT a mile away with the sweet fogs in the grille…no mistaking that for a V6.
Then, I'd hold out for gray if that's the color you want.

Dont let brakes deter you, you can always add those later...And you get to pick the brand!
Also the fact that people mistake it for a V6 is somewhat cool...
I remember the time my uncle grabbed a rattlesnake thinking it was a milk snake. Lol

My 01 was black.....my 09 was black....but my 13 is race red. That having been said, black is beautiful when clean and I was once told "black is the most beautiful color on a car, as long as you aren't the one keeping it clean"...I would have to agree...the red isn't as common, at least around here so I'm glad I went that route.
