Black 2013 GT on the road (video, pics)

After seeing the red GT/CS the other day that I posted here,

https://themustangsource.com/f726/re...cs-vid-503666/

I saw a black GT last night on the way home from work. It looks great in black, making the painted rockers and covers blend in a lot more. I'm curious about what I was seeing under the rear bumper; it almost looked like outdoor electric outlet housings. I assume they are attaching test equipment, as the car was full of monitors and test gear, but still interesting.

No front end pics or video. It looks best in black but the rear looks massive and tall.

my concern with black was that the blackout panel and grey plastic areas that stand out on other colors and break up the back end would not do the same on black and and in effect make the black car stand out with a huge rear end. i think the same will happen in the front with the lower grill slats and kinda make the car look much heavier. love the taillights but overall the 13 just not my cup of tea.

Yeah, sorry, I was focusing on driving, so I couldn't safely turn around to get a shot of the front. In the thread linked above, you can see the front of the red GT/CS a little in my mirror.

Jay, you're becoming one heck of a spy photographer. Nice catch. At first I thought it was the same car that I snagged for the tails, but I think it was lacking a little motor

Did anyone notice what that thing is on the roof towards the rear passenger side is? To me it looks like some sort of camera?

Tails look great with lights on. Brake lights are so-so. Great catch, glad to see this thing on the road. The black might be the best looking this model year, hides the controversial license plate frame-thingy and there's no contrasting back end.

Hehe.. that's one of the great things about living in the Motor City; there's all kinds of cool stuff to be seen if you're into cars!

It was a sensor of some sort; there was wiring running from it into the cabin. The tester had a bunch of test equipment on the dash, as well as a laptop mounted to the right of the center stack.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to get that license plate thing off to paint it,or if it is even removable?

Anyone that has got up close to one notice any bolts or anything?

Love those lights. I think all the new Mustangs look high in the rear. It's just the styling. The 05-09 have a great rear deck height. Yeah I said it. Where's Charlie at to revile in my admission?

I was wondering what that was on the dash. I wonder what they could be monitoring?

Taillights do look cool but I hate the license plate surround and prefer the gt500/boss lower on the 10-12s.

I guess if I can do just the taillights and it looks like it fits I may consider it but i'm not gonna do the whole rear ... Just my opinion.

Don't apologize, you need to keep your eyes on the road, especially in that traffic.

Thanks for the pics. (again)
