Best Handeling Muscle cars. OH No 2015 Could be in trouble
I just read this article on the best Handling Muscle cars. I was shocked ( no not really LOL ) 2 of My favorite cars are in the top Ten. Looks like out of all the cars the ones to beat have a Solid rear Axle. OH No

Lol i love this debate. Its funny becouse the window sticker on my 14' GT clearly says sports car. When i talk to corvette owners they gauk at the Mustang being considered a sports car lol. I call it a sportmusclepony car looool! It pretty much can do it all!!

Well Yes the 2015 could be in trouble. Out of 10 cars the best handling car has a Solid rear axle. There are tons of people that have always said IRS is the only way to go. I find it very ironic then that the standard is the Bos302 with Old school technology if you will. Not many over the top things about the 2015. For me I am glad I have a 2014.

The boss is not the "best handling car", it just handles the best out of a small sample of cars. Go look at cars that can actually handle very well and see how many have solid axles.

The Boss is NOT the best handling car and a SRA is not the best handling set-up.
I think this thread is merely alluding that reviews of the S550 aren't up to the par we'd have expected them to be.
In my opinion, I think it'll be a great set-up once we actually get some on the road and get some real feedback! Too many pre-production debates. Now that it's out, let's see how it does!

I don't think Insurance companies have a "Pony Car" category for insuring these vehicles. It is listed as a Sports Car for insurance purposes.

He wasn't stating that the Boss is the "best handling car." He was referring to the Boss 302 being the benchmark for the 2015 GT Track Pack. As the M3 was to the Boss, the Boss is to the 2015 GT/TP.
The Boss is NOT the best handling car and a SRA is not the best handling set-up.

That is exactly what I was talking about. Thank you Krohn!!
There are allot of other things that make a car handle great. One of which is the driver and the right suspension for that Driver.. The car has to work as a whole.. But in that article it list a few great cars. They had IRS and the Boss is the standard. It is an entire Package that makes the Boss handle so well.

I'm sure the 2015's with a couple suspension upgrades will handle wonderfully. Now to figure out how to get my hands on one to do a little track testing....
