Behold the 5 point 0
Just thought I'd share this photo from a Mustang meet here in the UK this weekend.......this is one of the first 5.0s in the country

Once you add in shipping, import duty (10%), value added tax at 17.5% (we pay VAT on all goods and it goes up to 20% on Jan 1st!) a few on the road costs and you might as well change the $ for a £ sign.
A decently specced 5.0 GT will set you back between £36-39k, so about $57-62k

Over here, we have a test called the IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) for imported cars which tests for a number of things but in particular things requiring modification on the Mustang are the lights.....we need amber turn signals, rear fogs, side indicators etc. It costs around £1k to get the car modified and tested.
Luckily for us, LHD isn't a "technical" issue and you get used to driving a LHD car very quickly.

Have you ever seen a 2000 Cobra R in the UK? Just curious if there are any owners over there.

Nope, not a silly question as I know some countries, Australia for example, won't allow new LHD cars in the country.

You guys should loan that car out to Clarkson and the boys for an episode of Top Gear. Sure it would be beat to hell and the tires would be gone when its returned, but the rest of us will enjoy seeing it on the show

Currently £1.20/litre. Yes per LITRE. That's $1.91/litre or $7.26 per US gallon (if my math is correct!)
Yep, high intensity rear lights for when it's foggy. Often tacky additional lights are fitted under the rear bumper, but I have on of the 3 rear elements as a fog.
Take a look at the 'orrible dangly rear fog under this 2010
