Yup, no skip shift on '13-'14 cars.

Mine is basically stock so far(hood struts, shift ****) but I will be replacing the rear control arms to get rid of the axle tramp at the strip and I may some day do a tune to raise the rev limit. Pretty satisfied with the HP/TQ as it is though.

I have the MGW, GT500 ABs, and JLT oil separator. Waiting to go in are Eibach shocks, struts, springs, and sway bars. I will probably get wheels, tires, and a grille after that.

I will consider my car "pretty much stock" until I pull the trigger on intake, tune, and Boss mani. Really trying to hold off on that order for awhile.

My DD truck is stock .

Both Mustangs are heavily modified. Strongly considering adding a 3rd fun car. If I do it will remain stock! Granted stock is still amazing so it's not a real sacrifice.

Too **** expensive to risk warranty issues.

Maybe you got a leftover 2012 MT82??

Well, I disconnected this solenoid and now I don't hear plates moving when pushing in clutch at under 3000 in first and it doesn't grind and clunk going into 2nd. I doubt I have a 2012 trans on a 2014 built in August 2013. I think this is a feature that returned in 2014 models. I just wish ford would be more forthcoming with this mine definitely has it. When I would shift from 1-2 under 3 k it grinder clunk going into gear and the was with clutch to floor and off gas. At higher rpm it was smooth. Now that the solenoid is disc so is prob.
I have 14 GT TP what do u have?

2014 base GT track pack. Build date may, 2013. Mine absolutely does not have skip shift. If it did, I would remove immediately.

I have a 2014 base GT, I do not have skip shift and I am certain 2014's do not have it. Not sure what you unplugged but??? The picture post you referred to is from 2010.

So does he have skip-shift or a bad transmission/car?

Until you install that first tune...then you'll ask yourself why you waited so long, other than warranty issues perhaps.

I'm completely satisfied with my stock 13 GT. Doesn't mean I wont be modding soon but I'm cumming from a C6 that ran 12.6's when stock and this thing just pulled off a 12.6 bone stock (power wise,I have springs and axle back)!!

I don't blame people for saying they don't have it cause it is possible some of these cars might not have it. But, it is true that some do cause many guys have complained about the same symptoms about shifting from 1-2. I just wish that ford would tell you if the car has and allow for it to be shut off without unplugging the connection underneath. Also, some might have it and not realize cause when u shift over 3 k it doesn't activate the skip. There also could be other factors that turn it off, but since I unplugged it I can't test what might turn it off.

Can check the tranny for the solenoid on the tranny... probably the sure fire way to check. I haven't looked at my tranny for the solenoid connector, but there is no functioning skip shift on my car.

Wonder if they built some 2013/2014's with "leftover" trannies that contained the skip shift? Might help explain why some have more tranny issues than others - if they worked out some of the bugs in the later production run MT82's (without skip shift?) they may tend to work better. I have had almost no shifting issues at all thus far...

I thought I already posted this, but I don't see it.

A notchy 1-2 is not skip shift.
