yeah they do, you have to be driving a certain mph at a certain rpm for it to activate i think. You can always have it tuned out.

The '13 cars don't have skip-shift anymore.

This has been confirmed by Ford Customer Service reps on the forums (not sure if this one or another forum), and by several '13 5.0 owners that tried to induce the feature and couldn't get it to kick in.
Also, the '11-'12 owner's manuals talk about the feature, the '13 manual doesn't

Sweet - I was hoping my '14 wasn't going to have skip shift.

That's a "feature" I don't miss! My '06 GTO had it and I had to buy a skip shift eliminator to get rid of it. It's a PIA.

This is one reason why I didn't buy a Vette. Among many others. I'm glad that Ford didn't include this on the 13 and newer cars.

Congrats and welcome to the forum, brandxj! As, Gabe mentioned, the 2013s do not have Skip-Shift anymore.

Yeah I'm honestly thinking of making my next mod a tuner, almost immediately, just to get rid of it. It kicks in almost ever 1-2 shift now and its utterly annoying.

You don't need a tune to disable it, just crawl under the car and unplug the wire to the solenoid.

You can also just raise the rpm level a little and it won't pop up either. The only time I really can't avoid it is in bumper to bumper traffic. In that case, I start in second.
