Took the 5.0 convertible out to the track this evening. Got in 3 runs.
First run 12.68 at 110 mph, then a 12.70 at 110 mph and last a 12.70 at 111 mph. Had some tire spin. With some sticky drag radials I'm pretty sure 12.20's are doable.
I'm pretty pleased with the results considering it only has a 93 octane Bama V2 tune and Magnaflow axlebacks.
Our car was the fastest late model 5.0 at the track. Even quicker than the 2013 Boss 302 that was there.
A guy in a 2014 GT500 with drag radials was only running 12.95 at 114 mph.
