BamaTune Tech Question

I recently programed the street tune on my Stang and when I did, the original factory tune was saved on the tuner. If I want to re-program my car with the performance or race tune, do I need to restore the OE tune first so that it gets saved again so the tuner doesnt try to save my street tune as the original factory tune?

No, the SCT handheld saves the OEM tune to a separate location. You do not have to flash back to stock when loading a different aftermarket tune. For example, you could go from a Steeda to Bama tune without first reloading the OEM tune.

I hope this helps.

Nope, just plug it in. Select program vehicle, select your tune, and follow the prompts. Takes like 5 minutes.
