Thanks Sam Strano - Lowered mustang pics inside!

Last weekend in my driveway I installed the Steeda sport springs and Koni STR.T dampeners on my car. I called up Strano parts and asked for a good solution to get rid of the wheel gap. I was assured that this would not be a punishing ride as well (my biggest concern). It definitely drops the car down to a "that should have been stock" ride height. The handling has improved and now remains much flatter when cornering, the nose dive is drastically improved over stock as well. The ride is mild, i'd guess it to be somewhere between 25-35% stiffer. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease, and selling me the right equipment! Anyone afraid of putting lowering springs on your car for fear of destroying the ride should call Sam. He'll get your squared away.

Your car looks great!

That ride height IS perfect.

Nice job.

Your car looks great. Should have come from Ford like that.

I'd suggest the Boss front splitter as well.

1 1/4" in the rear according to the steeda site. As far as the panhard bar, the rear is off about a 1/2" due to the drop. I'm not planning on doing an adjustable bar on this car. It's so close it's hard to tell if it needs one.

Nice stance, now that reminds me to do something about mine. Since i lowered it with FRPP 1" springs and Koni's STR,T's, the front sits lower by about 1/2 inch. Thing is i don't want to have to buy another set of springs just to have to replace the two rear ones with 1.25 drop ones, but at the same time i'm at a lost as to what to do. Part of my problem has to do with wider front tires i'm running right now.

My buddy was in the same predicament. Against my advice he chopped 1 coil off the rears. The ride was crap after. He bought a whole new set now just for the rear springs. I know Roush sells separate fronts and rears. I believe the rear set is 1.25" drop. You might want to check that out.

No I mean the stock bouncy ride when on a concrete highway doing 75. The car just bounces non stop. Mine is a brembo car so idk if that makes a difference.

That's mostly the stock shocks. Try some Koni's or Tokico D-Spec's.
