Bama/SCT Tuner for 2011 V6 ... does this have re-sale value ??

With the newer tuners, it sounds like if it is "un-married" it is re-sellable. With this older style is this also the case if you revert the car back to stock ??

When I bought it, Bama needed my computer code and what mods I had so I don't see how it will just be plug-in-play on another 2011-14 V6.

Anyone know ??

Thanks,

Doug

Any unmarried tuner will have resale value.

The computer code was for the tunes not for the tuner. If you were to sell it (after putting your car back to stock), the buyer would have to get new tunes matching their car to load on it but the device itself is not car specific.

Thanks for the replies.

So what would be the VALUE of this considering the person buying it would need to buy new tunes from SCT ??

Something less than the $250 new cost ($400 for tuner including lifetime tunes minus $150 for the lifetime tunes alone).
