I just got my airaid cold air intake and X4 tuner I was wondering what would be better for a daily driver performance or race tune?

I've used and enjoyed both. I'm sticking with the 93R though because I really enjoy the acceleration. Love how it moves through the gears and it gets up to 80ish very quickly. Slight drop in MPG's though. It's all preference. Try both for a little while and see.

I run the 93 race tune 24/7, runs well.. a bit touchy though.
Car makes all the numbers it's supposed to make, I've been very happy with bama through the years.
Lots of haters out there with very little basis for hate beyond "eh it's a mail tune".
No reason to go all out dyno tune if you're not done modding yet, can't beat free updates every time you make a change.
The performance tune is probably less touchy on the pedal.

I prefer the hybrid tune. AM doesn't advertise it but if you have tunes for life you can request the hybrid tune. It is the best of both worlds. It has the good acceleration at low rpms like the street tune and the good acceleration at mid range rpms like the performance tune.
