Back in black
Sorry. This is the only pic I have so far. Just picked this one up yesterday at Ford of Kirkland in Seattle. GT premium with security, comfort, 19's, and 3:73 rear. I was going to buy a silver one with auto, 19's, and upgraded interior with grabber blue stripe. They had it on sale for $29975, but I stopped the night before and decided I liked this one better. So I go to the dealer to make the switch and my sales person says "your going to be very happy." It was their other "loss leader" for the weekend advertisements. $29975 after the ford rebate... Needless to say, I was very happy
This car is the shyte, by the way. I've owned 9 other mustangs from '86 on and this car needs nothing. I can always think of some way I'd improve the car, but this one is perfect. Faster than my supercharged bullitt. The faster you go, the better it feels... kind of like a german car. And the steering feel is just perfect.. responsive but straight tracking on our rutted tram-lining highways. I couldn't be happier. Incredible what you can buy for $30k. Ford sure is doing a phenomenal job these days. Oh.. and I knocked down 23mpg on the way home which I assume will only get better as the car breaks in. Awesome! Going to change my sig now.

There's always one in the crowd.
Not entirely true. There were less than 800 bullitts made in '09 in Highland green. Pretty rare in these mass produced days. Rarer still would be an '09 black bullitt (but that's not really a bullitt ) After I took the supercharger off in preparation to sell I realized I enjoyed the car more without it. As good as the new car is (and it is really good), there was something about #6333 that just resonated with me. I would not have felt I was missing out had I been able to keep it. Sort of like accepting/appreciating a life partner and not always continuing to look for something better. Not in the same realm of importance, but the same idea. Besides, Steve Mcqueen was just frikin cool.

14 degrees this morning in Bellingham. Reminds me of home... NE Ohio. Here's a couple more shots of the new whip. Not taking it too far because of ice, so I couldn't find a sunny place. (I live in the tall trees) The car is so tight and refined it almost doesn't feel like a mustang anymore. Not complaining, but it sure is a big change even from the '09s. This car is a tremendous value. I've always been a Ford fan (10 mustangs) and I'm really pleased with how they've stepped up their game in the last 5-10 years.
