Apparently that's the MRT axle-back set. Here's a video of it so you can hear how it sounds.

Sounds good. The rust takes about an afternoon to make disappear.

Eh, to me the 3.7 doesn't sound all that different than the 4.0 with aftermarket exhaust. And that axleback definitely needs bigger tips. It does sound decent though, very Nissan like.

You would think Ford could at least paint the areas so they don't get surface rust. Somehow GM and Chrysler do it on the Camaro and Challenger.

It's to cut costs, which in turn lowers consumer costs. I don't mind it.

Wow, I know it's only a V6 but that sounds horrific! I thought the Nissan/Infinity "swarm of bees in a tin can" sound was bad. That's even worse.

Sorry, not my thing.

My stock V-6 exhaust sounds better to me. Mine is a much deeper sound but no where near as loud as the posted after market one. I'll wait until a mucher deeper sounding after market exhaust comes out. My factory exhaust has gotten a hair louder with just 200 miles on it.

I'd rather pay $50. We aren't talking hundreds of dollars in mass.

the exhaust sound needs to be made deeper not more high pitched

hearing that sound and looking at the car it comes out of does not jive

It's a high strung V6, it's not going to have a deep sound when you wind it up. This sound way better than the Magnaflows IMO.

That's my thougts as well, but we may find we're expecting a sound that's not possible with our chosen engine !!

I always thought my Magnaflows on my '04 sounded good and deep, but maybe that was more so in the car where I always heard it rather than outside !!

I've since heard the new owner take off from my house twice and I guess it sounds similar to this MRT and the Magnaflow version on the 3.7L.
