Ordered 2/13
Built 4/13
ETA #1 4/17
ETA#2 4/23
Current ETA 4/23

Supposed to hear back from Ford CS by Friday they called on Monday and I let them know I am not pleased.
Also Ford better be extending the $500 rebate that expires on 6/1 or I will be a little upset about that.

Ford has done a poor job in communicating with their dealers and customers on this.

I'd bet they don't extend the current offers, but just replace them with new ones that are just as good.

Prior update was Apr 25. So near 4 weeks with no movement. Alas, my loan app expires thursday, and my loan officer says I will need to reapply.. As least I won't have to pay the app fee. Rates have dropped a bit too since last month...

New update from JonnyB:
Awaiting Shipment Sent Offsite - Uab19 (Autoport Limited ) Autoalliance International Inc, MI May-25-2010, 19:37 ET May-08-2010

Have a feeling mine's doing the Autoport shuffle... Out and back this week is my guess... If I'm lucky, maybe it'll ship out next week? Would put it at Jeff's just in time for my birthday... How nice

I looked today at the King Rd. lot, that's a CN owned vehicle distribution center. No numeric designation on it at all.

Not a problem. I'm getting the itch to order mine, I parted ways with the g/f today, and this is going to be my redemption and enjoyment for the summer. Figured I may as well go big or go home.

Big boy retail therapy.

I once dated a woman who said (regarding my 'vette), "I hope that car keeps you warm at night." To which I replied without missing a beat, "Warmer than you. . . warmer than you." The burnout and departure immediately followed.

Last time I had a major relationship falter, I ended up with the Speed6 in about a week (although that was in motion before we split). This time it's basically the same thing, just the time table has changed a little bit.

OK.....I'm thinking that these these science fiction planet names for parking lots are actually individual spots in a parking lot. I mean, each spot in a particular lot has to have a designation. You can't just tell some porter, or whatever they're called, (Valets?), to go get the red Mustang in Area 51, right? He or she has to know where to get the red Mustang from.

Uam 38, Ual12, Gf02.

Those can't be totally different places. Overboost....go to a bar where all these people go after their shift. Chat 'em up. Get the truth. It's on you. YOU live there. Do it.

After Ford makes the mustang we recieve it and sort it out by route code, sticker on the car put on by Ford so we can organize the cars going to the same state. We also get a lot of roush products. Like the boss, laugna boss, and the mustang dub edition.

railroader36;
you may be the person I need. Can you tell us what the codes on the window sticker mean? Like for my car the code on box ONE = CA2L.
I believe the 2L = the yard at Petersburg, VA, but I can't figure out CA. C maybe = Convoy as from the assembly plant to the mixing center. Mine when through Fsteria, Ohio mixing center. A = ??.

Also the portion of the long code below the bar code that is usually 6 numbers long and starts with a 0, like 004199.

Are yard is set by the route code and we put them all on the same area depending on the code. Some are convoyed by truck depending on where the cars are going or if shipping by truck is cheaper then rail.ill get more info on what the whole code means. But lucky for you mustang owners we take care of the cars and score high on quality unlike my avatar picture was a railcar of fiestas loaded in mexico. That car wasnt tied down properly and was rubbing on the railcar all the way back from mexico Hahah back of the car was destroyed.I'll get pictures and videos of cars and the loads and try to help you guys as Mich as possible.

I just came across this site, which indicates there are rail delays due to the unavailability of transport. Here is a link for the whole story. Don't want to bore anyone not interested by writing it all here.

Jonny was a Ford employee, probably in the transportation department, that got the shipping informatin for us. Unfortunately for us Ford did not approve of his helpfulness. He was told to stop giving the information out.

The last thing Ford wants is an informed customer. Ford's idea of customer support is to treat it's customers like mushrooms, keep them in the dark and feed them s**t.
