Most 05-09 NA auto's were running 4.10 gears when upgraded. My 08 had 3.31's but now with the new 6spd they are running 3.15's. What gear upgrade would be best for the '11 auto? Would 4.10's be to steep?

 

You have to consider how low the first gear ratio is in the 6 speed auto tranny, 4.17:1.

The 4.10's would definitely be too much gear with that first gear.

I would say if drag racing is most important to you then maybe a 3.55 gear would do real well and a 3.73 would be at the far end of the spectrum.

If just street performance is king, I think the stock gear is going to work great.

Now, as soon as a higher stall converter becomes available, that might be the better swap than the rear gear.
