Anyone regret adding a strut tower brace?

I know converts and those with 19" wheels come with one but for those with a GT that did not come with one did you really notice much improvement?
I see there is an aftermarket lower strut brace that can be added as well to the bottom of the suspension.
I'm mostly interested in faster turn in.

Anyone who upgraded their 2013 GT OEM brace to an after market one and wants to sell the old one for cheap let me know

Ebay usually has them for around $100 (I bought 2 of them)
I didn't notice any difference, but I put it on pretty shortly after I got the car. They do look nice!!

I added the Boss strut tower to my GT. Noticed better feel in turns and more solid on uneven roads.

Added a GT500 strut tower brace, X-brace from Dads Hot Hod Shop in Brookline NH and K-member brace, car is like a full fram car snice and stiff, how can you not benefit from frame strengthening?

This is the first thing I did to my GT. I didn't get the track pack (couldn't find one even close to my area, let alone one with MA State Legal emissions), so I had to "settle" with a 2013 GHIG with just Recaros and 3.73s.

I ordered the BOSS strut tower brace from AmericanMuscle the day I knew I got the financing for the car and had it on 15 minutes after I got home from picking up the new Mustang. Feels good.

Now to just find a BOSS Leguna Seca rear seat delete kit in GHIG.

I didn't really notice much when I put one on my 2006 (the factory GT500 brace). I've got the lower front one on order and should probably have it installed this weekend. I had a Dodge Neon prior and put a front and rear strut tower brace on that and it made a huge difference. I'm guessing there is a lot less flex in the Mustang.

Which lower one did you order? Let us know if you notice a change after install

I've been on the fence since I bought mine on whether to get one or not. Noticed yesterday on ebay that Roush sells take off ones for $100 shipped, but otday can't find them????

I guess for the price and time it takes to put one it's worth it

I got this one here from American Muscle. I'm not expecting a lot out of it. I think maybe if I were to install the upper and the lower at the same time I'd notice it. I'm thinking the stock GT500 upper just really isn't enough to do much good.

I see AM has 2 that look interesting, the SR and Boss. The SR bolts on with 4 bolts on each side and would appear to be more secure than the Boss which only bolts on with 2 bolts on each side. The Boss looks like the brace that my 2010 GT with 19" wheels came with. Any suggestions on what one I should get for my 2013 GT? Thanks.

I thought that all of the 2012+ GT's came with the lower one!?
I know the boss has the lower one with the scoop.

This one will fit the 2011 Mustang GT auto better:
http://www.steeda.com/store/2011-for...wer-brace.html

The one I originally posted-Steeda Double Bar Strut Tower Brace - 2011-Up w/ Boss Intake - $183.70- will fit on a 5.0L with a base GT manifold

I had read Boss in the early post and thought it was reffering to the boss intake on a Mustang GT with a strut tower brace. Sorry for the confusion.

Please let me know if you need help with pricing/ordering the strut tower brace.

Best Regards,

TJ

Ha ha, I just checked and yep my 13 already has the lower one. I guess I should just get the upper one and recap some of the money selling it when I put the car back to stock when it's time for another Stang. I like the look of the AM GT best but that steeds one seems pretty nice too.
