Had to do the tint. It's hot here, so that will help save my red interior. Tune and cold air (in Aridzona?) intake may be in the future. We'll see. Oh yeah, and maybe drop it an inch, but only an inch. And, now that I think about it, a spare tire. I definitely don't want to cut a sidewall, and be left in the heat of the desert with an air compressor and can of green goop!

I think modding is something that is just in your blood.I've modified every car I've owned in some fashion.I knew I would not be going into this motor like my old Fox body 5.0 heads, cam, intake etc.

I dont need to as I've already got over 400hp but because of my love of performance and Mustangs,I've already started modding my car.I have Steeda CAI/tune and will have full exhaust done next week. That will be it for now and I may do some suspension work down the road a bit.

I think It's perfectly ok to leave your car alone because you can also create all kinds of problems when you start modding so I say cool if ya do and cool if ya dont

I have done nothing to my car. I picked it up today at 6:00 and galpin auto sports was closed at 4:00. That said, it is pretty perfect. Would like it a bit lower but don't want to lose ride quality. Corsa axle back exhaust sounds nice, but my 05 had slp loudmouths and was too too loud. Don't want to do that again. Does it need 25 more ponies??? Can the stock rubber even handle it?

Cosmetics are definitely in the very near future. But I really haven't decided about performance mods.

Right now, I am waiting for Ford to put out the FRPP tune and CAI as it is my understanding that the FRPP parts will not void the factory warranty, so long as the dealer installs them. The only bad part is that, if the RTR 9 horsepower gain is what they are showing, they are not worth the money.

I am not sure of the Steeda shifter yet; had one in my 2001 GT and it was great. I'd like to find one already installed so that I can actually feel the difference between the two.

I thought about leaving mine alone, and don't have a problem with anyone that doesn't mod. Should you mod I think it would be wise to hang on to all your old parts. Better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

Agreed. I asked the shop to put my stock springs and panhard bar in the trunk so I could put them on the shelf at home, just in case.

Gotta beat my CAI/Tune Only 2007 by a half second first. Not going to be easy. Gonna take a 1.8 and the right air.

Im likely going to add a tune eventually. The stock rpm limit is obviously low. I may not change out the stock air box. Im also likely eventually to change out the exhaust cat-back to get rid of the 2.25" Section and tune the exhaust sound to my taste. Im not likely to go very loud. Maybe a Corsa Touring.
