Get a 12 case of beer and put it on the passenger seat...now you have easy access and plenty of storage.

Hope no kids reading this...PG21

I definitely find it annoying but it's do-able. It helps to just use the back holder if you only have one drink.

I didn't realize how much I like my ambient lights in my cup holder until I was driving my jeep home tonight and missed my cup holder twice, last time spilling my drink all over...

I love my car. There are very few things I really don't like. THIS IS ONE OF THEM.

Exact same thing happened to me but my case saved me... It barely fits in there vertically but I habitually put it in there

+1! We were in a Jeep this summer that had great front row door cup holders.

Otherwise, we are stuck with 8 oz. pony cans or sippy cups.

I got the ones for the 3 series as I used them in my last car. I had to bend mine straight to work on this car. I dont think it matters all the much as these are very bendable to fit whatever setup you need. No tools needed I just did mine with my hands by eye and it works great. I use them every day and have never lost a cup yet.

I rarely have a passenger. So I just bought the smallest console POS from Autozone and made a little strap that holds it onto the seat. When I have a passenger, I put the thing in the backseat or the trunk and use my "hang-off-the-door" cup holder.

One thing the Mustang lacks is space for your stuff. You put too much into the cup holder area and suddenly, something gets back into the area where the door flips down into and the damned door won't open all the way. So I end up putting nothing but change and a spare key in there.

Agreed. The cup holders are in a terrible location.

Even when there is no water bottle in it, I still angle my arm out of habit. It was a terrible design.
