Anyone else find it annoying to shift with a cup in the holder?

The cups holders are right behind the shift ****. I usually fill the 7 11 big gulp cup with water before I go somewhere far and find it annoying while shifting with it in the cup holder. I try not to use the cup holder too much. Anyone else feel the same way?

Yup.

Thats why i use A Klean kanteen stainless bottle and fill that. I leave it in the back seat, passenger seat, between my leg and drivers door etc.

Basically anywhere BUT the center console cup holders. They're useless.

I don't bring drinks in my car normally, but when I do, it's quite annoying

I use them, but not very often. Would have been nice to get cup holders in the door panels like most every other car has, but it is what it is.

Yes. I've learned my lesson with a Styrofoam big gulp cup and shifting hard. Let's just say the cup holders and center console don't leak..

I never have a cup of anything in the car, its too easy to spill and I have crappy luck. I do use the cup holder for a small bottle of water so I can keep the lid on it. It barely sticks up, so it doesn't usually interfere, other than resting my arm on the console.

I find them to be useless, my son put a drink in there once, and after a minute asked him to remove it as it was always interferring with my shifting. Maybe they'll come up with a better idea for the 2015.

They're at least better than the 94-00's (and probably the 01-04's) you would literally shift right into but, I agree, they are still in the way though I don't really care that much honestly

My 03 is not that bad. The first cup holder no way but the 2nd is not bad at all. With the short throw just gotta watch elbows and tall cups.
