any reason to add the oil collector can on 2013?

Past posts seem to favor the oil collector can addition to remove oil mist from the intake, due to the piston oil spray feature in pre 2013 GTs. As the 2013s don't have the piston spray feature, but rather a redesigned forged piston, has anyone found the need for the collector can?

Good question. Any thoughts on this issue from the tech heads?

Some have chimed in on this topic for the 2013s in this thread -

there is still going to be some oil vapor from the crankcase, just maybe not as much as when there are oil squirters.

I never thought that the oil squirters contributed to this before. Hmm, interesting.

Anyway, there are no squirters installed on the Boss 302 Road-runner engine either (any year), but there is a lot of oil that gets sent to the intake! I have air/oil separators installed in all of my Mustangs.
