Any news/speculation on Sept. incentives for 2010s?

I'm thinking hard about a leftover 2010, and it seems like there are a ton of them here in the Houston area, but dealerships aren't really dealing on them. Also, I noticed that incentives for August are actually lower than those for July.

That said, does anyone have any news or speculation on September incentives for 2010 models? If I could get one for the $7500-$8500 off I saw mentioned in the SoCal thread, I'd almost certainly have one in my garage.

Thanks in advance.

Just call enough dealers someone will bite. Or try the old multiple rounds of offers via internet sales. I dont know about 2010 but 2011 went from $500 Bonus cash to $1000.

Get some one who is a USAA Customer to get quotes on a Mustang then send their sales department an email saying your ready to buy if they sell it to you for the same price.

I'm a USAA member and got my 2011 GT for $50 over invoice that way.
If you want I could price the 2010 GT for you, just let me know which options you want.

That's very helpful, but probably about $5,000 shy of the discount he is looking for.

To the OP -- you are just going to have to wait and see. I was in your situation back in the spring and nobody could ever predict what the next incentives were going to be. I was amazed when the incentives actually got worse from April to May . . . I thought about holding out until the fall hoping the incentives would go up again, but lost patience and bought a used one instead.

THe problem with waiting ... is that whatever is left is usually the worst optioned cars that nobody really wants ... probably won't get the color combo or tranny option you really want. Settling for a car just to save $8K .. but you are still spending $25K ...

Thanks everybody. I guess I'll bide my time and keep an eye on the incentives.

I saw the thread about the increase in bonus cash on the 2011s. I'd rather get a deal on a leftover 2010, but ordering a 2011 isn't necessarily out of the question either.
