I bought a 2011 Black (manual) GT in Calgary from a dealer here. It was not a custom order though - it is one that they configured and ordered for their lot. The sticker was available a few weeks ago and had a build date of April 13, 2010.

I received an e-mail today from my sales rep at the dealer saying the car is now in Vancouver (they ordered it for their "partner" dealership in Vancouver but since I bought in Calgary they will send it on once they get it) and they are taking delivery of it, then shipping here. Should be here early next week according to his update.

I hope it's true! Can't wait!

Wow-Your Poor car has seen a lot of the country in it's short lifespan. Great Lakes to the Pacific then east again to the Praires. I hope it took some pictures for you to see it's journey.

Hope you get it soon and post some pics and a review.

Good luck eh!!

Forgot to mention mine is a manual as well!!

Sterling Gray GT mt, 3.73, Brembo, HIDs, security

Ordered Mar.16, build April 14, produced April 19, nothing since. ETA ????????????

I was talking to a GSM at a Vancouver dealer today and they got in a GT and a GT500 today. The GT sold while in transit and I don't know the status of the GT500.

Sorry. I knew that was going to happen. What kind of information are you looking for with respect to driving in the Canadian environment? We've got four different seasons to deal with, it's hard to know where to start.

We're a bunch of cool guys here, but with just 7 posts, i wouldn't start whinning and *****ing with such immature comments. He hasn't threatened you in any way, and hasn't insulted you neither, better, he's actually interested in what you have to say. So keep a low profile for a while and you'll see, it'll all turn around in your favor.

Thanks Dan

Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Not sure where I went wrong on this. Just went to here to back my fellow Canadian Mustang people. And of course all Mustang owner and potential ones

Guess there is a bias on US orders/owners compared to Canadian ones as we are really small.

No issues.

Guess I will not post again. Find this exchange a little harsh at times. But some very nice people to.

I didn't interpret his questions as particularly snarky or anything. Too much room for misinterpretation in the written word.

Steve, can you answer my previous post?
Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the site. I ordered a Sterling manual GT coupe from an Edmonton dealer March 3rd. Production date was scheduled for April 21, may have been delayed a little as there was a parts shortage and hold rumoured at that time. Got an ETA for delivery about two weeks ago for two days ago...

I'm living overseas and planning my vacation around delivery of the car. No worries though, my dealer will inform me when it leaves the shipping ramp with an updated ETA and says he'll hide it in the back lot with a "SOLD" sign in it if it beats me there by a week or two.

That I wasn't clear enough, thus inviting further questions, nothing more, nothing less. I would still like to try to answer the question in your original post if you could elaborate on it further.

Sweet, that's awesome Steve. While I'm a current 2007 owner, I'm waiting (as patiently as I can) until the Boss comes out. I'll be selling my current car shortly to make room for the new arrival.

Welcome to the boards Steve. Are you doing the restoration on your '85 yourself?

You would have to check on the Ford site to see what rebates are available. The programs are completely separate. I don't know if anyone has tried to order the brochures here or not.

There are 1000$ rebates available to Costco members. They currently apply only to 2010 model year cars, including Mustangs.
