AMR Wheels, something else, help?

Right now I have the stock 18in wheels.

I am heavily considering replacing them (or using them as a winter set), but I need an opinion on which rims I should get.

The AMR wheels on AM.com seem to be the best deal, but I need an opinion on color. I saw these in AMs fall sale page:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/blacka...html#cPicsWrap

Which would look like this:

What do you think?

I've never been the biggest fan of black wheels on black cars, but this looks very good to me. Glossy black wheels would look better than matte charcoal on my car imo, but feel free to tell me otherwise.

I also really like the silver AMRs which would look like this:

Those are dirt cheap right now at only $110 each

I'm open to other suggestions besides the AMRs, but total wheels + tires + mounting/balancing must be less than $1500 (before taxes)

Thanks in advance

Can you get them in 9.5" width for that price?
I dig the charcoal.

I went with Charcoal AMRs and used the plain chrome caps AM sells. Looks badass

I think charcoal looks great on black. The gloss is just too black and your wheel rubber will never match. I know that you can fit your stock center caps with pony onto the SVE drift wheels.

Does AM allow some switching around with sizes? I'd like to run 19x10 and 285/35/19 all around.

Check out the wheels on LMR. The DF5 or whatever they are called are pretty sweet. Vossen CV3 replicas that are around $800 for a staggered setup.

Can you run 19x10 on the front in the 11-14 GT Brembo?

I know people here have 285/35-19, but I thought they have to be on a 19x9.5 on the front...

Depends on the offset.....I run a 19x9.5 up front with 285/35/19's....offset is +35. I've read quite a few guys running a 19x10 up front without problems tho.

Thanks for the info. Do you know what offset works for 19x10 with 285s on the front?

One of the only correct offset 10 inch wide front wheels I know of is the forgestar from Vorschlag. Terry has worked with forgestar to get the correct offset in either 18 or 19x10 inch wheels. Yes there are other brands, but either too expensive or the offset is not correct, leaving the tire and wheel sticking out past the fender lip. Not good for two reasons, extra wear on the wheel bearing and possible tire rub when cornering. The 10 inch wide wheels from AM are for the rear wheels only.
