Different strokes..........I remember when 16s were a plus two sizing and 17s were HUGE. I refuse to go larger than an 18 inch rim (and expensive tire.)

I'm not sure how far Chris Young took the hyper silver idea, but it can't hurt to bring it up again! I'll see what I can do.

Also, I'll look into the painted mirror covers too jsimmons. I'll especially take a look at the lighter colored ones. Painting the inside satin black shouldn't be an issue, but I'll have to look into it first.

Keep the suggestions coming guys!

Another vote for Hyper Silver and agree with 18 inch wheels.

Bring the thread back to life.

Did they come out with Silver ones?

I am looking for the Boss 302 LS Wheels.

Who makes the AMR wheels.

Can the center cap be changed to a Ford One?

They're nice looking wheels in any finish and a pretty good deal.

My quandary was that the offset on the original RTR wheels makes the style look SO much better.

I finally ordered I my own RTRs and they'll be here today. Worth the extra cash, IMO.

Agreed. The similar AMRs aren't bad, but The offset is what does it for me. I love my RTR's

MR GTX and 05PRMTX can you all post some pictures of them. I am not sure what the difference looks like? Where did you get the RTR wheels?

They're not the best, but I've got a couple pics of mine. I don't know if I'm explaining this correctly, but basically the RTR's have a deeper curve in/concave profile, and slightly larger offset.. They line up with the edges of the fenders better and have a more aggressive look, imo. I find it much harder to tell in a picture than in person.

You can get the AMRs and RTRs at American Muscle. They have a bunch of customer pics of each.

Thanks Guys!

No they don't rub at all, I also have a 1" drop w/ ford racing suspension components. My calipers came painted, but you can buy the paint online I believe.

This explains offset a bit better than I could here:
http://cocomponents.com/dealer/blog/...set-explained/

American muscle doesn't have offset info, but I believe the RTRs have more negative offset, so the hub sits farther in from the outer wall.

Holy crap... my set of charcoal RTR wheels arrived yesterday and I'm blown away at how great they look siting in the box.

OEM TMPS semsors ($58 shipped for the set from Amazon vendor) will be here Monday and I'll get the tires put on a day or two later...leaning towards 285/35/19 Potenza RE-11s.

BTW, they offer them in both narrower and wider sizes than the original 9.5" wide untis but the offssets appear to be a bit more conventional. I almost went 10" wide but they would likely be less concave/more tucked under than the originals.

Awesome man, congrats. I've wondered the 10s too, but the 9.5s are perfect IMO. I've got the Falkan FK452 255/35s on mine. No complaints so far.
