AMR Wheels love them or hate them ?

I have been looking at wheels almost every day and I have been seeing these AMR wheels with tire packages. I liked the charcoal wheels but now I see they offer a gloss back anyways just looking to get some feed back on the quality of AMR and witch tires I should stay away from ?

If they'd do them in hypersilver they would be great.

I use my AMR 19" for track wheels. I love the look and my mechanic checked runout and the were right on the money. Size for size slightly lighter than Ford rims. The only small gripe is the sharp edges of the wheel lip and hub holes have some small chips in the finish. A little touch up and you won't notice, also the center caps are a large size that the stock caps won't work. Doesn't matter to me as I run without centers.

rm2092,

You're going to love a set of AMR wheels on your Mustang. We've sold hundreds of AMR wheel/tire packages already, so it shouldn't be too hard to find someone's Stang and see in person. The hardest choice is between gloss black and charcoal! As for tires, I would go with the Nitto 555. They're a great performance tire for an affordable price too. If you're looking for a more extreme performance tire, the Nitto Invo's is another option.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

I noticed some of you guys suggested hypersilver for a new finish color. That's not a bad idea, I think silver would look great too! I'm going to bring this up in my next parts suggestions meeting and see if we can get these in. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Shane

Shane, I discussed silver wheels with Chris Young a quite a while back and he supposedly offered this up at one of your meetings at the same time the black color was suggested. He told me you guys were supposed to be getting them done but nothing ever materialized. Silver, especially hypersilver, would be a very popular color option for these wheels.

Here's another suggestion - On the body-color painted mirror covers, you should paint the insides satin black. I have the white ones, and the sun punches through the white AND the cover itself, and it's plainly visible from the cockpit of the car.

Amr's are a good looking reasonably priced rtr look alike, imo*I have a buddy with your 19x8.5" on his slammed 2011 5.0* they need more aggressive offsets like the sve drift and rtr/tsw nurbergring etc to look even better. Also other color options like silver/hypersilver/polished finish wouldn't hurt.

They look good, just wish they came in wider sizes.

I bought the package in 18x8, shipping/mounting/balancing/fitment/appearance was excellent. This is my fourth set of Pirelli P Zero Neros on a third Mustang if that tells you any thing. Any other question on tires - search Tire Rack's database - lots of good info there.
