Amplifier/Battery Installation Mustang V6 2012

Hello. I was searching post but couldn't find.
So my plan in couple weeks to install an amplifier. So it will be later on, but for now I just want to add second battery and question is the battery will be in trunk and connecting positive go to Positive and negative to Chest of car?
Also If anyone can tell me which color is the the remote in stock radio. Or I saw one guy showed in his 11 mustang and he connected by passenger side in fuse box.

You will need a battery isolator. PAC makes one along with a few others.

So i was reading now askwerswiki and says (not general for Mustang) You can use the cig lighter power wire for the remote connection. Works too? How about I found one guy showed on 2011. http://www.6833ecd.de/images/stories...stang_sw-6.jpg

Also I read here in yahooanswers and the user Kaezoo said, " the remote wire will carry up to a full 12 volts, and you could keep the amplifier on all the time by jumping a wire from the main power terminal on the amp to the remote terminal. This won't harm the amp, but it will drain your car battery over time (even if the amplifier isn't playing anything)"
Since Battery has12 V , so I can run wire and add on/off swich and to Amp remote, will it work?

For my amp I ran the remote power from the lumbar and ran a switch to where I can turn on both amps when I want it on.

Yes you can do that but the first time you forget to turn the amps off you will return to a dead battery depending on how long the car sits. Most newer subwoofer amplifiers have a bass **** that you can turn down the amp if you don't want the subs playing. That pretty much replaces the need for a toggle switch on the amp to turn them on and off. If it were me I would definitely hook the remote wire to a 12v wire that is only on when the car is on. Many LOC (line output converters) come with a 12v remote out. Here is one that plugs into the back of the Shaker head unit and has 4 RCA outputs that are adjustable and has a 12v remote wire as well. With this one you dont have to cut or splice any wires. Just plug into the back of the radio and then plug into the factory radio harness.

Yes, if you turn the switch off everytime you leave the car the amplifier will not drain the battery down. That will work for you. Its not the preferred setup but it will do if you don't want to remove the radio to find a remote wire.
