...that got a v6 mustang and is completely content with it? I hear stories of people getting the v6 because they can't afford the v8, but why get a car you don't like 100%? Plus all the v8 owners saying how their cars are so much faster, thing is I don't care about that one bit...I love the LOOK of the mustang inside and out and that's why I got the v6, and 305 hp is still a lot for a DD. Not everyone wants a base GT over a v6 premium, if my priorities were speed and not luxury then of course I would of gotten a gt, but my priorities are MPG, looks, and comfort without it being a boring 120hp DD
Does anyone else feel this way?

Good color choice btw
I honestly don't let the other guys get to me, good for them that they're happy with their 5.0s and other v8s, don't have to go out their way to annoy happy v6 owners. It's a different story if they're a v6 owner and claim they're faster than a v8 or think they have a rocketship blah blah.

I agree with you a couple of my friends call it a hybrid but I just laugh at them. And it's a great overall car. once when I was at a bar I apparently was quoted saying "it's not a car, it's an experience" so for the next week my friends kept sending me this picture of my car with the quote. And I couldn't agree with my drunk version anymore lol couple more mods and I'll have it just how I always wanted it
I hope you don't have saddle interior too
Really? Then what about 27.3 mpg @ 80mph? I can squeeze out 31.8 mpg @ 70mph.
In fact I do more than 90% of my driving in heavy rush hour city traffic and still average 24.5 mpg as a norm.
Those mileage figures can't be accurate, unless you're also doing some serious hooning at the same time.
With my 2012 GT, I was seeing 23-24 (hand calculated) MPG with about 80/20 highway/city split when driving like a saint, and 21-22 MPG, same highway/city ratio, but with one solid 1-2-3 WOT run per outing. All while crusing at roughly 80-85 MPH on my 23 mile trip to work.
Now it's a different story of course, what with my 18-19 MPG E-85 tune..
But really, those figures seem awfully low if it's really just highway.

Well "mopar?", I had a 2007 Dodge Charger V6/AWD and I was very happy with it! I added an intake, dual exhaust, tuner and a bunch of suspension upgrades, then started doing track days with it! I eventually broke the 2-min. lap time at Mid Ohio, which was one of my main goals!
Not bad for a 2-ton car on "street" tires.
Then the thought of something with more power and better-suited for that kind of thing got to me, so I "upgraded" to the Mustang GT. Still have many fond memories of that Charger! So yeah, I'm okay with people who are in the "V6 Club" and happy with it.

Mopar? honestly I love my car. I am one like others that really sees it as an experience (that said I think that owing a harley is a lifestyle, not a bike...I dont own a harley).
I believe in moderation - I can have everything I want, I dont need the fastest, best looking, whatever - I can still have everything and money left over for everything else....and be thrilled with everything
Besides - I HIGHLY doubt the boys are looking at my car with me in it and saying "its just a V6" - I want to think they are checking out the driver (At least that makes me feel a bit better...lol) - I've caught a few smiles and nods.

I was perfectly happy with my baby HP '10 V6. Even after I took an '11 V6 out for a drive a few months later it was okay. But when I couldn't stand it anymore and took a '12 GT for a test drive, I wasn't even through the gears the first time before I knew I'd be trying very hard to take it home with me.
Don't care about losing some on the trade... don't care about the insurance going up a few bucks a month... don't care about the gas mileage going from a solid 28 combined to the 21 it is now. Worth it every bit.
That said, if I hadn't been able to make the deal on the '12 GT, I woulda bought a '13 V6 new that same day. That's really what I went to do... I was just walking by the used lot and saw the other.

I agree with all the "it's the experience" quotes. It is all about the experiences you have with your car, and if the V6 is all you need, then why spend more money than you have to?
Me personally, I need hot nasty bad *** speed too!
