AM Expert Zach’s 2014 GT/CS Bama Tune Results! – AmericanMuscle.com!

Hey Guys!

One of our Mustang Experts Zach joined us in the shop to test out some new mods on his beautiful 2013 GT California Special. He was looking for some power and throttle response and wanted to take full advantage of running premium fuel. Zach and Justin went ahead and installed the C&L Street Cold Air Intake w/ 95mm MAF & X4 Tuner and the results were great. Not only did it pick up some serious horsepower on the dyno, but they went for a road test to break down the difference felt out on the street!

The results?

Zach was thrilled to see his C/S go from:

- Stock 93 Octane Dyno Results: 369 RWHP and 372 RWTQ

- C&L Intake and Bama V2 Tune Dyno Results: 401 RWHP and 398 RWTQ

That made for a peak gain of +32 horsepower and +26 torque. The gains throughout the curve were as high as 28 ft. lbs. of torque! Those are crazy gains from just an intake and tune, keep in mind that he is still running the stock catalytic converters. Even more important than the power; according to Zach, "the driveability is even better than stock"! I had a chance to talk to him myself and he is still raving about how well it drives!

Make sure to check out more about this build: AM Expert Zach's 2013 Mustang GT Build!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out!

-Will

Awesome video! I cant wait till I order my Tunes from Bama. I got a quick question...

I want to pair the SCT X3 Tuner with Bama tunes for Life Program, who do I need to call for that?

I already have the tunner, just need the tunes. I also have a couple of questions about the process, what to expect, etc...

Thanks again!

Cant wait to order again from AM!

P.S Zachs ride is a beauty! Deff impressed with the numbers on just stock car with only an intake.

Hey GB,

Glad to hear that you're excited to get into some Bama tunes! You will not be disappointed.

In regards to what to order or who to call, that is simple!

To order, simply add the Bama Tunes and Free Tunes for Life Membership to your cart and submit it, it's that simple!

For any questions, concerns, or even just to talk about tuning, shoot the Bama team a call at 888.226.9764.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

New updated Tune, Called Version two. I just installed mine but have not had a chance to test it due to my work schedule and weather. I have been running the 93R Bama tune with no problems, But I am being told the version two tune is way better. Hopefully I get a break in the weather to test it out soon.

So I updated my tuner last time and they sent me a new tune recently. Would I know if I had it?

I cant answer the warranty question. I believe that depends on the dealership you go to. My dealer is aware of my tune and are ok with it.

RedGT12, I would email Bama. My tune file says V2. I loved my old 93R Bama tune, But after hearing great things from guys running the V2 tunes I decided to try. I contacted Alex Lazarus from American Muscle and he was a huge help. Send AMAlexLazarus a PM and Im sure he can assist you. I have still not tried out My Version 2 tune. As soon as I do I will post about it.
