Look in the front grille, it has a cobra emblem, im thinkin maybe this is just a 2009 car now, notice it has the same cab style as the 05-08 cars as well

They wouldn't change the lights for 1 year...

its a 2010

Now the question is... is it really a Cobra/GT500 spyshot...OR... are they just reusing a GT500 part as a stand in...
Hrmmm?

I've recently spoken with someone, who's a very reliable source. That has stated, the re-styled S-197 will continue, until at least 2014..

It has the new dash, mirrors, and lights, not to mention the significantly different side scoops and body moldings...it's gotta be the '10
Ohhh has anyone else noticed the lil bit of orange glow in the center grille...from the turn signals? intersting lil bits coming out of these shots...

I am thinking like some of you, to me it looks like the next Shelby GT500. Could be the 2010 GT500.

Why not? Same housing, different lights & projectors inside... not too hard to produce. Maybe as an option?

Seeing this new pic, I think we're looking at a future Shelby car (SGT? GT350? GT500?). Maybe (hopefully) some of the new body parts will also be used on the regular 2010 Mustangs.

"Re-Styled S197"...

Do you mean by way of insinuation, that there would be another 4-5 years worth of parts options for the 05-09 S197 platform? For example, some '06 owner could decide he wants to change out his front facia to a 2011 design?

Its a 2010. Its either a Cobra or a GT using Cobra parts.

I have to admit, some of these clues have me worried. Maybe I will love the car when I see it, but right now, I am not crazy about the lights.

The 2010 dash board & interior have me worried as well. I am a huge fan of the current retro style dash.

If its even possible...but you'd have to change the lights etc in the front..and the lines would not line up with the rest of the body of the car

Hmm, either a double bluff to make us think it's a Cobra. Or a triple bluff to make us think they're trying to make us think it's a Cobra and then we think it's not. Only it is.

Oh, and if it is a Cobra, surely it'd have a Cobra on the steering wheel, not a new version of the pony. Or is that what Ford wants us to think.

You know what, I've gotta hand it to Ford. They're doing a really good job of throwing everyone off in every direction possible. I just wish they'd stop teasing us already! TELL US!!

All of these spy shots are taken about a 1/4 mile from my house. I see All these camo coverered vehicles almost everyday (not just mustangs). I guess after seeing them for for the last 20 years I just don't pay attention anymore... Maybe I should toss a camera in the glove box and post some pics. I just think it is funny to see these all over the internet.
