Even with all the fancy camerawork, I feel it lacks the grit of the original - a lot.

Especially since the new mustang grips the road a lot better = less excitement. LOL

Obviously a professional stunt driver is doing the driving... but when they portrayed the women as driving it... could not take it seriously... pretty much cant be good

From: CenTex...sort of
The writers of this show are clearly not car guys. I'm a car guy and I knew the car would stick to the road better than the original, but that was pretty toned-down compared to what I expected. It's hard to break these cars loose, and when filming cars you don't want sticky tires and cars that plaster themselves to the road. Hell, every time I heard the undercarriage take a chunk out of the pavement, I cringed.

I did notice they edited out the massive wheel hop on the Mustang in reverse.

Wonder how much the Mustang was lowered. Except for maybe the very last scene when she stops after the Charger flips, it definitely wasn't the stock ride height. Very little wheel gap.

2013 Mustang and Charger Chase scene (video)

it turned out pretty good, the car flip at the end was kinda dumb, and mustang had no damage at all, typical... pretty much enjoyed it till the charger randomly flipped lol

Guess the Bullitt ending of the chase wouldn't have worked in this one...
Still cool to see.

Same Beetle, over and over

blah, the whole show is just a huge commercial for ford, the most obvious one was with the Explorer next to the private jet, scene lasted like 5-10 sec.

and the typical " bad guy refuses to listen, backs slowly into the main character,..... then all of the sudden *BAM* fist/knife/pistol fallows, and bad guy runs away"

I'm not sure what your problem with that is.

That looks even lower than I remember the FRPP kits being, I could be wrong though.
