aftermarket fogs for V6

Hi Team:

I'm about to embark on installing aftermarket fog lights in my 2012 V6 MT. Got them from Starkey Products; they've had great reviews and have been very helpful.
Any others do this, any advice, counsel, or warnings? Thanks!

I installed them on our 2011 V6, the supplied instructions were very good. The only issue I remember was trying to remove the stock switch. Took a few minutes to figure out how to remove. Very happy with the results.

The instructions that came with my kit had a great writte up with pics on the headlight switch; it showed using a plastic stick (or screwdriver wrapped in cloth) to lift on the corner to expose the one screw (on some models) that has to be removed to get the headlight panel off. Then pop out the headlight switch.

Does this Starkey kit come with the factory switch that provides the auto headlight feature? Mine did, which I thought was a bonus. The Mustangs come pre-wired with the dash sensor, so it's really just a matter of changing out the headlight switch with the ectra pinouts/switch position, along with the pull out switch operation for the fogs.

Yes, it does come with the switch that allows the auto headlight feature. I'm looking forward to putting them in tomorrow. Will let everyone know how it turns out. Maybe even a few pics if I can figure out how to do it.
