Adding to a Mustang

Ok if I was to add say, Mirrors that have the Pony logo that shines on the ground when you open your door.....If I buy those and replace the stock ones on my Pony, is the harness there for plug in? Is the car ready for this or is there a programming change that needs to be done? So what I am really looking for is, where do you find out the information concerning things like that??? Other than ask everyone here which I have found lots of good information after you wade thru some info. Thank you again....

I just got a 2014 Pony Package Convertible, didn't have the pony lamps - I purchased a set of lamps that had the projectors (they come on mirrors with heated glass) and it's just a plug and play deal. No extra wiring at all on the '14's, and I suspect the same on the '13's. The cool thing is not only do the pony projectors work, but so does the heated glass on the rear view mirrors. It'll take you all of about 20 minutes to swap them out.
