A couple of quarter mile passes will fix the MPG you are seeing.

Wait until your engine gets broken in. It will get amazing gas mileage.

lol i take it you figured out the trick too.

Just get going to like 80 mph then hit the reset button. it started at like 50 or 60 mpg for me but my phones camera took forever to load so it got down to 30

Heck, getting the fuel economy readout to say 99.9 mpg in a Mustang is nothing. I used to have a 18 wheeler with a 600 HP 2050 TQ motor that would do that pretty often and it didn't have a reset button for the readout.

I do drive like a grandpa!! My '11 5.0 gets better than I could have imagined MPG! Didn't take a pic & I don't have my phone with me. I got 32 going 65 @ night 1 night. I was on a bridge going across a river. I put it into phone cuz that's just what I do. I get 25 going 70 during the day. I drive to get better mileage, though! If gets too high, I turn my A/C off.

I can't wait till she's broken in. Didn't know it'd get better! Thanks!! I'm 33, too.

@ 90 MPH, I get like 3.5 though.

I got 32 MPG on night of 10/21/10. Took note mainly for people that says it's not possible. It was around 9-10:00. About 65 degrees, Forgot to get that! I reset it cause I was on a pretty flat surface.

It's not possible.

Show me a tankfull of gas against miles driven that calculates out to 32 MPG on a 2011 GT.

my posted thread has lots of pics to prove you can do it in a modded mustang. I get the same milage going to vegas and new mexico and those are 100% flat land with some small humps every now and then. Also I was not driving for milage as you can see by the speed. I can say I have gotte almost the same result with all my mustangs other then my 2010 gt(cuz it was junk). Also the car in my thread is a shelby gt(my old car) and has much worse fuel ratings then a normal mustang. people wants facts? pictures good enough?

All I know is @ that exact time, already know it's not that reliable, I got 32. I was there, were you? Didn't say I averaged that an entire tank. 1st tank I got 23.1. Haven't matched that #. Prob averaged about @ 19 per my tank?

I gotta V6 PP and I cant seem to get higher then like 21............... is something wrong?!?!?!? I did think it was gonna be better then that. Or does it get higher the lower I let my tank get?!?!?!?IDK but I did think it was odd...the first mile once I reset might say 29 but then it just drops ):
