5.0 GT + Boss 302 Intake Manifold Idle Issue

Are we gonna add in the cost of gas to drive it and the oil because you put miles on it? Adding anything in for wearing the tires down? Or brakes to stop it, or the clutch disc?
The boss manifold is a "next step" kinda mod, if you're not the kinda mustang owner who already has a tune, and CAI, then the high rpm nature of the boss manifold is almost certainly not for you.

Getting back to the original purpose of the thread ...
I took everything apart and re-assembled. Was able to replace the 2 sheared bolts and was very careful about the fitment issues with the B302 throttle angle vs. the Steeda CAI. Tried the carb cleaner spray and I really have no vacuum leaks. BUT, alas, still the issue with the fluctuating up/down idle (550 - 750) + the occasional stall out on idle.
With the manifold out I did notice some brown coloration on the intake ports (which I think is indicative of running with too much fuel). I tried the set up with both the 87 Performance and the 87 Street tunes from Bama ... no difference. One odd thing is that I have a hard time restarting after getting gas (odd), but, once I get it going, it's fine.
Bama continues to be super helpful and I am sending them another data log tonight. Any ideas, guys? (Oh, and I bought a set of fuel injector o-rings (18) but turns out I didn't need them b/c ever one of the single green o's were still on the injectors.).
Thoughts?

i'd replace the o-rings anyway maybe one is nicked or torn. as i said before, that is the exact issue that my buddy had and it was a vacuum leak. the brown you saw in the intake is likely oil blow-by, these cars are notorious for that and it doesnt take long to get noticeable oil in the intake. i didn't read all of this, but did you spray the TB cleaner around the outter edges of the intake? if you do and the idle clears up when you spray in one spot you know that is your issue area. it might be worth it to take the car to a shop with one of those smoke machine testers that can pinpoint leaks.

Well it was the tune! I hooked the fuel vapor purge line back up with the sensor and got a new tune from Gus at Steeda and all is well !!! Can't thank Gus & Steeda enough for jumping in and volunteering to help me !!!!! I am happily motoring again

I ran a tenth slower with a Boss intake and Steeda tune over stock intake and Bama tune.
Bama tune for the Boss intake was awful down low, tons of lost torque, I probably should have ran it too but I'm confident it would have been even worse.
DA when I ran with the stock intake was 2700, DA when I ran with the Boss intake last friday was 500, so the losses were actually worse.
More than likely going back to stock, unless I want to spend more money on a dyno tune...

Boss manifold
BamaTunes - using 87 Performance now. I had them before the Boss302 and in my '05 w/o any issue at all. I sent them a bunch of diagnostic info and they are being EXTREMELY helpful. Just wondering if anybody else had this issue too. I had some fitment issues with the intake and I am wondering if I am getting like a back flow issue? I do indeed notice the power difference, so, I did something right ... maybe ...

Anyone having idle issues with after putting a Boss 302 intake manifold on a base 5.0 GT (see signature for configuration). I have a fluctuating rpm issue at idle that goes as low as 500 rpm and then spikes back over 1000 rpm. Sometimes the engine kills and I have a challenge getting it restarted (but one it does, then, no more issue for a while. Bama is helping me with diagnosing, but, wondering if any of y'all have had this issue.

I’ve definitely noticed a increase in probably 30 or so hp power and maybe 15 fp/t, but i was pro-tuned prior to putting it on. Though i have a gain my idle seems off and my car is running hot after a drive with my fan kicking on I believe. Possibly just low on coolant because i had a issue i thought i fixed but wonder if the intake could be causing it now.
