Ironic really, given that's probably one of the main states where that would be useful.

50% tint is barely noticeable, but there are tints like 75-90% that would help too. I'd just deal with the sun visor then. I was planning on getting a Glass Roof car, and was toying with the idea of tinting the windshield, glass roof and front side windows all 50% (windshield and front sides are illegal in CA) as I figured keeping them all the same color would make it not as noticeable to the LEOs. Then tint the rear 3 windows 5%.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant, it has UV40 to prevent sun damage. You'll need the visors for the shift ****, though.

I wonder when Grabber Pony, and other companies for that matter, will start offering shift ***** with the new shift pattern? I mean we've know the new pattern for quite a while now...

... and kudos to Ford for making that shift **** out of solid aluminum. I don't mind having to be careful with it on hot sunny days - nice to have authentic materials in the car. That shifter is half the reason I ordered the 401a package (makes it a pretty expensive shift ****!).

I installed the 401a **** in my 400a GT. Just need the shift **** and boot - but the **** directly from Ford is around $130. I bought mine second hand from someone who upgraded to a Hurst shifter.

I have a right workout glove (with cutoff fingers) which I'll use for shifting on hot days! it's real metal, and I too like that!! I have one in my 91 5.0 now (B&M) aluminum shiftknob and love hte feel of an aluminum shiftknob.

If I was to have something different, it would be a white Roush QueBall Shiftknob to match my Black with Cashmere seats... Or I'll take a Black One

I've driven 2010s, one with the 401A package and one 400A; I loved the way the 401A **** felt. It just felt like it gave the shifter a better weight, meatier feeling.

I wrote to Grabber Pony a few months ago and asked about that. They wrote back and said soon. I wrote again about two weeks ago and they haven't responded.

Clearly, "soon" hasn't passed. Sheesh... get with the program.

Exactly what I did, one warm day here in Austin was enough to convince me that the std shifter, even with tints was not going to work, hence

They do adpators for the model year 10 cars as well,

I ordered the wrong one by mistake, then got them to send me the correct MY10 one which when I fitted I didn't like, so went back to the 05-09 adaptors and just pulled the boot up

Thumbs up for GPony from me, good guys to deal with

The front screen is untouched just standard Ford tint

The front sides are at the legal max for Texas (25%)

The rear sides and rear screen are one shade lighter than limo
