I have now had 5 lower control arms replaced in the front end. 49,000kms so approximately 30,000 miles and the sound still presists. Of course the service tech just has to mention the car is no longer under base warranty but because there is a history. If you'd fixed the problem from the start I wouldn't have to bring it back. So guess what until its fixed its your bill not mine. While I'm on it this 3 year/60,000 km warranty needs to be changed to 60,000kms only. If you've owned the car for 3 years and don't drive it in the winter you can't put that much mileage on in 3 years, yet your warranty runs out regardless. My car was stored for a year and only had 5200kms on it June 2013 when I bought.

Anyway, now an engineer has chimed in to make sure the arms where put on correctly.

I have read other threads with the same issue, anyone come up with a solution. Something tells me there isn't.
