2014 mustang gt. Issue with power steering and traction control

I was changing my spark plug when I accidentally hit the positive terminal on my battery causing a spark.
after I put everything back together the service stability control popped up and I have no power steering either. Checked the fuse in passenger side compartment and it was good. Has anyone else had this happened to them? What could be wrong?

There is a fuse/relay box in the engine compartment as well. Have you checked it?

There are two fuses on the positive battery cable as well. Can't hurt to check them too.

You more than likely need this, in the old days it was just because of the sparks but now they have all kings of stuff to short out and removing the negative cable is cheap insurance.

If you arced on the positive side you need the fuse, there is a link to it above in this thread.

I had the same Issue, but my story is a little complicated.
I had an accident and I hit the curb really bad. I damaged the driver side suspension. I changed the knuckle, the lower control arm and both struts.
The knuckle for the 11-14 models was almost $500, I thought about replacing it with a 09-10 knuckle which is only $150. The only difference was the ball joint size so it didn't fit. (the control arm wiggles a little)
I drove my car for a while and then had to install a short shifter. I took it to a shop for that, and after that it started acting crazy. I have been losing the speedometer for 15 min while driving sometimes and found out that the stupid mechanic didn't install the speed sensor back on the transmission. He fixed that and started losing the steering assist every time I start the car or sometimes while driving. Then after a week I completely lost the steering assist.

I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT LIKE THIS FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS.
Not gonna lie it is better when drifting lol.
