2014 Mustang GT Hood Shake
I was recently hit in the front right fender of my car when someone backed into me. There was minor damage to the car, it just needed a new headlight and new fender but the car started acting funny. At 80+ Mph the hood would shake and bounce violently. This was never an issue, I would be going 100+ and my wife would say it didn’t even feel like it. I’m on a road trip from Washington to Texas and I can barely keep up with traffic with these 80+ Mph speed limits. I noticed the debris shield was beat up and not connected so I ran to a Walmart in the town we’re staying at for the night, bought some zip ties and picked some holes in the shield thing and zipped it up. Idk if it fixed but we’ll find out tomorrow.

Which plastic shields are you referring to? Unless your referring to the plastic shields attached to the wheel wells, I'm unaware of any plastic shields that are directly related to the hood

Wind deflectors from the front bumper back to the motor, some have taken the cover out from underneath the motor that is in the way when doing oil changes and they get a fluttering or vibrating hood.

My bad, I got carried away and forgot lower engine shields weren't added until after the 2005-09 model years.

yeah could be that lower pan under the engine, added in 2010 and not present in earlier years, if I remember correctly
also could be the little bumpers that the hood rests on, need to be readjusted after the accident ... I'd go after the plastic wind deflector underneath first, and if that does not correct it, play with the hood rubber bumpers
