2014 GT500 idle issues and P115e,P0507

Hey guys, I just bought a 2014 GT500 a bit ago and recently it’s been running weird. It has the re an racing 13-6 kit. Twin throttle body, JLT intake, smaller pulley, and Lund tune. It has 16000 miles.

It idled fine from cold start and all the way to operating temp with zero codes or problems. After driving it will start to idle at 1000-1200 when going to neutral or stopping after some driving. On a longer drive today after I thought I fixed it with a reflash on the way back to code came back and was surging at all speeds. Idle in neutral stayed at 1800 a few times and car just didn’t know what to do with it’s fuel.

ive cleaned out the MAF, checked for vacuum leaks between the intake and throttle body, and reflashed the tune from Lund.

I have no idea where to go from here. I don’t want to replace the TB incorrectly as it’s $700. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums!

The reality is you'll need to talk to either the original modder, Lund or a local tuner that can analyze what's wrong. There's too many mods for any diagnosis from afar. The car needs a computer hooked up to it so as to let them (or you, if you're inclined/have the knowhow/stuff) find what's wrong and/or reset the situation. We could throw out so many 'this is it!' suggestions and you'd wind up with a parts cannon being shot. It's best to let the car tell you what's wrong than have us guess.

I know that's not the answer you're looking for, truly, but a non-stock car is difficult. Too many variables. Could be a fuel pump, vacuum as you say, throttle bodies, the intake itself, MAF, exhaust, the pulley needs to be unsmallered, injectors are wrong size/clogged, wiring issues... and all of that is generic enough that none of them make sense to say 'yep, there's your issue.'

I hope that helps, even if it's not exact. Good luck!

one other thing that might be worth a try -- the "idle relearn procedure"

which I think us super simple . . . just disconnect the battery to reset the computer (pretty sure loading a tune does the exact same thing) and then start it up cold and let it idle and warm up; then turn on the A/C and let it idle with A/C on . . . . or something like that, I think it's on here somewhere
