2014 GT Track Pack tranny whine/clunk

So curious if any others with the 2014 Mustang w/Track Pack have noticed any whine from transmission at lower speeds. Seems to go away if I give it some gas but since I do a lot of city driving it's noticeable pulling away from stop signs and such. Also I notice a definite "clunk" sound when engaging the clutch but from some threads on here that sounds normal?
Overall I LOVE this car and since adding the MGW shifter it's even better... the low speed gear whine just seems a bit weird as does the clunk. Thoughts?

Low speed cluck is fairly common. Can't say the same for the whine? TPs come with 3.73 gears, and some folks experience gear whilne at highway speeds, but I'm not familiar with low speed whine.

Is the whine exacerbated when putting some forward pressure on the shifter while in first gear?

Hmmm... didn't notice it in relation to any forward pressure on the shifter but I'll try that when driving tomorrow.

It is normal. It's the sound of the synchs making more nose and causing premature wear.

I asked if it got worse when putting forward pressure on the shifter because if it didn't that means the new shifter is putting pressure on the synchos on its own, meaning it could be a faulty shifter.

Definitely not any different or worse when applying forward pressure. The shifter itself feels fine and the noise was there before I put in the MGW. It's just not a noise I've heard in any other cars so had me wondering...
